These are some photos taken from around the lab.

Fridge lab

One of our Oxford 3He systems. This one has a one inch bore, the same as the dilution fridge.

Our top loading dilution fridge.

Fabrication lab

On the left is our Edwards 306 evaporator, and on the right is our plasma asher.

Our fume hood. The entire lab is equipped with yellow lights for when we are doing fabrication.

A shot of our optical table. On this side you can see our wirebonder and one of our optical microscopes.

Our optical table from the other side. From right to left we have another optical microscope, featuring dark-field lenses and a video camera, a probe station, and on the end there is a MGB3 mask aligner. You can also see the hood for our Headway spinner.

Our topometrix AFM. It's been heavily modified, including a complete reworking of the electronics from the photodiode array and on. We are also working on setting it up to to room temperature capacitance imaging.

Another shot of the AFM, showing the controller electronics, the computer and the snazzy marble table.
